Clutch, Rival Sons to Co-Headline ‘The Two-Headed Beast Tour’

0

We may not be getting new Clutch tunes until at least 2025, but that doesn’t mean those rock and roll lifers are going to refrain from taking their show on the road. No sir. Earlier today, they announced a tour set for later this year where they’ll share top billing with co-headliners Rival Sons.

Dubbed the ‘Two-Headed Beast Tour’, this particular run of shows will see the two bands going from Brooklyn, New York on September 5 until they hit Las Vegas on October 10. Throughout the run of dates, they’ll have different supporting acts, including Fu Manchu and Black Stone Cherry.

Looking forward to the tour, Clutch frontman and epic wordsmith Neil Fallon said there was a lot of excitement for the announcement prior to its release, as not only will the tour be great, but the band will also be performing one of their classic records in its entirety.

“We are looking forward to our tour with Rival Sons. Throughout the course of our set, Clutch will be performing Blast Tyrant. Both bands have plenty of mutual fans and will garner many more throughout the course of the Two Headed Beast Tour. We hope to see you there!”

Similarly, Rival Sons guitarist Scott Holidays shared his excitement for the planned run of dates.

“We’ve wanted to put something together with Clutch for a long time! They’re one of the acts that we could notice people rep’ing at our shows, so we’ve always thought it could make a really great double bill! Happy to bring the “Two-Headed Beast” to life! The riff will be strong on this tour …as will the good times!”

Tickets for the tour will go on sale this Friday, April 19 at 10 a.m. local time over at either headlining band’s official site. You can find the full list of shows below.
