Bruce Dickinson is Considering a Solo U.S. Tour for 2025

0

Aside from a pair of shows out in Los Angeles this past weekend, Bruce Dickinson‘s tour in support of his solo album The Mandrake Project is completely avoiding the U.S. in favor of South America and Europe. It’s a massive bummer to anyone here in the states that digs the Iron Maiden singer’s latest effort or any of his older solo stuff, but don’t fret for too long because he’s at least considering a run through the Land of the Free for next year.

That little tidbit of information came about during his recent appearance on SiriusXM’s Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk (as transcribed by Blabbermouth). According to Dickinson, his first show at the Whisky-A-Go-Go over the weekend has all the right people interested in getting such a tour off the ground.

“I brought the [booking] agents and the promoters, and everybody came down and saw the Whisky show [in West Hollywood, California over the weekend], and now they know what they’ve got to deal with in terms of doing a U.S. tour. So, we’re looking at it, we’re planning it.

“I absolutely wanna do a full U.S. tour with ‘The Mandrake Project’. I obviously can’t do one for the rest of this year [due to commitments in other parts of the world and Maiden’s upcoming touring activities], but there’s ’25 and there’s numerous opportunities that will crop up. So the answer to that is yes, of course, we wanna come and do the U.S.”

If you managed to catch any of the clips that began making the rounds following his two warm-up shows in Los Angeles, you’d understand why people were excited to get a real U.S. tour going. Fans ate that shit up, with people singing along with Dickinson for most of the night.

As for now, we either have to travel to catch Bruce’s solo act or wait until next year. Either way, if you’re a fan of The Mandrake Project, it seems like it’s not going away any time soon.
