Mastodon, King Gizzard, Drain, and More Added to ‘Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4’ Remaster Soundtrack

The tradition of Tony Hawk Pro Skater games having damn good soundtracks will continue with the release of the remastered version of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4. I can say that with confidence because after two waves of soundtrack reveals, this third wave has some damn good tracks on it as well.

Announced earlier today, the latest batch of tracks added to the list of songs includes Mastodon‘s “Precious Stones“, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard‘s “Gila Monster“, Drain‘s “Living Proof“, Bad Brains‘ “House Of Suffering“, AFI‘s “The Boy Who Destroyed The World” and a whole bunch more. Keep in mind, those tracks join a list that already features the likes of Alice In Chains, Turnstile, Kittie, and Iron Maiden.

Ever since the game’s announcement, the folks behind its release have claimed that the game’s soundtrack will incorporate some of today’s music along with some of the tracks that played in the original games when they launched back in 2001 and 2002, respectively. So far, they’ve kept true to their word.

Having grown up playing the original two games in the Tony Hawk series, I can attest to just how influential they were in helping kids find rock and metal music, while also introducing them to funk, rap, and other genres as well.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 will be released on July 11 for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam, Microsoft Store, and Battle.net). The game will feature cross-platform multiplayer for up to eight players, a deep featured create-a-park mode, and a whole lot more. The game will also come in at a discounted price of $49.99 for the standard edition and $69.99 for the deluxe edition, which will come with a whole slew of additional shit.
