Metallica Drops “Hero of the Day” Remaster with Lyric Video
Today, Metallica has unveiled another single from their forthcoming Load (Remastered) album. “Hero of the Day” follows the band’s previous re-release of “Until It Sleeps.” On today’s single, the band reconnect with long-time collaborator and producer Greg Fidelman. The track was also officially remastered by Latin Grammy-award winner, Reuben Cohen.
A few weeks ago, Metallica announced that they will be sharing a limited edition remaster of their 1996 sixth studio record, Load. And even though its original release was already packed with 14 unique hard rock releases, the 2025 reissue is set to bring a new life to this record, with plenty of new bonus tracks to dive into.
The remaster will be available via a deluxe box set, a 2LP, a 3CD expanded edition, a standard CD format, cassette, and digitally. Fans can pre-order Load (Remastered) here.
