Taylor Hawkins’ Son Shane Hawkins to Join Chevy Metal on Summer Tour

0

It’s been three years since we sadly lost Foo Fighters’ drummer Taylor Hawkins to a deadly combination of drugs and opioids, but his legacy lives on through his son, Shane Hawkins, who is following in his father’s footsteps.

Taking after his dad, the 18-year-old drummer is taking a shot at living that rock star lifestyle. He recently announced that he will be joining Chevy Metal on their 2025 summer tour this July. Hawkins has played a range of shows with Chevy in honor of his dad.

Taylor Hawkins officially formed Chevy Metal in 2013 as a heavy rock covers band. Its previous lineup featured Dave Grohl on vocals, Wiley Hodgden on bass, Mick Murphy on lead guitar and Hawkins playing the drums.

With Hawkins’ passing, Chevy Metal’s new lineup consists of his son, Wiley Hodgden (bass and vocals) and Brent Woods (guitar).

Pre-sale tickets will be available on Wednesday, May 21, using the code MULLETPASS. Alternatively, general sale will be available to purchase Friday, May 24 at 10 a.m. local time. You can find the list of dates below.
