The Dillinger Escape Plan is the Mystery Band Added to This Year’s Furnace Fest
In a move that plenty of people probably guessed ahead of its announcement, the organizers behind this year’s Furnace Fest revealed that The Dillinger Escape Plan was the mystery band slated to perform on the festival’s final day.
As usual, this year’s Furnace Fest will take over the Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark in Birmingham, Alabama from October 3 to 5. During those days, a metric assload of music will be played, pits will be moshed, and in reality, attendees will be able to witness one helluva lineup.
Announced via the fest’s Instagram page, the current iteration of The Dillinger Escape Plan that features Dimitri Minakakis on vocals will play on October 5 behind that day’s headliners, Knocked Loose. Other bands slated for that day include Converge, Biohazard, Harm’s Way, Johnny Booth, Sanguisugabogg… the list of killer bands goes on…
