Topps is Selling Linkin Park Trading Cards from Their UEFA Performance, If That’s Your Thing

0

Last weekend, Linkin Park got some media attention and drew the ire of at least one ex-soccer star when they played before the UEFA Champions League Finals. It was a moment for the newly revamped band, now co-fronted by Emily Armstrong, to play an event that holds massive international implications — at least in Europe. To commemorate the event, iconic sports collectible and card company Topps is releasing a set of limited edition Linkin Park cards that you can spend your hard-earned money on.

Released through the Topps Now series, which prints limited runs of special happenings in sports and pop culture like a major WWE premium live event or the most significant record held by the New York Mets, the series features cards featuring the full band on stage, as well as individual cards for Mike Shinoda and Emily Armstrong.

As is normal for Topps Now releases, there are special variants for each card, including hyper rare signed editions. Not to be outdone by anyone, Shinoda also has a super special variant that includes a used guitar pick, which is admittedly kinda cool. Whether you get one of those rare editions is really up to chance, though you can buy 20 cards at a time if you want to increase your odds by spending $170…

Having bought some Topps Now cards myself, I can attest to their quality as a collector’s item. Are they worth anything? Not unless you get those super rare editions, but they’re still fun. Either way, if you’re a big fan of modern Linkin Park, you can get yours now.

If you’d rather catch them live, you can do that too, since there are plenty of opportunities around the world to attend one of their shows. The full list of dates can be found below.
