Drones have been a fucking problem at major outdoor shows in recent years, as the technology becomes cheaper and more readily accessible to the general public. During this particular show, eyewitnesses said there were several drones hovering over the crowd. Oftentimes, those drones are a way for people to catch the show without paying.
Yet one ambitious drone operator decided to get up close and personal with Durst during the band’s performance of “Take A Look Around.” To his credit, Durst coaxed the drone closer before delivering a Power Slap-esque knockout swipe, taking the drone down with his mic. Afterward, he told security to toss was done during the band’s two playthroughs of “Break Stuff.” But maybe that would be a bit too on the nose. Who knows?
