Jackass 5 is Happening Later This Year, Because Aging Gracefully is for Cowards

A surprise bit of news came out over the wire that I honestly wasn’t expecting, given how “final” the last installment was, but Jackass is coming back for a fifth feature film. Announced earlier today via social media, Jackass’ Johnny Knoxville proved that he just doesn’t want to go into his twilight years with at least every bone in his body broken.

In the announcement, which featured the franchise’s iconic skull and crossbone-crutches logo, it was revealed that this latest version of Jackass will hit theaters on June 26. That means we’re only a couple months away until a group of absolutely insane individuals attempt to make us laugh, gross us out, and get hurt along the way.

“Well a wang dang and hot damn doodle, we are starting the year off with a bang. We wanted to let you know that this summer Jackass is back!! We will see you in theatres June 26th.????❤️???? More to come but wanted you to hear it from us first!!”

There’s not much more to go off of at this moment, so for now, it’s just the announcement. There’s no news as to who’s part of this movie’s cast, which O.G.s will be returning, or hell — if Bam Margera will be involved in this one at all, given how he’s been working to stay clean as of late. His icey relationship with his former castmates might keep him off the set, but who knows? Stranger things have happened.
