Mr. Bungle to Make Things Weird with Their First East Coast Tour in 23 Years
This fall, the wild and frenetic antics of Mr. Bungle will terrorize the eastern part of the U.S. It will be the first time the band’s committed to a full tour of the area since 2000.
Note how I didn’t say it was the first time this iteration of the band has played the area in the last 23 years — they actually played two shows in Brooklyn a month back in February 2020. Still, this is the first time they’ll be hitting multiple venues in the area in more than two decades.
The newly announced tour will run from September 5 in Baltimore until September 15 in Detroit.
Along with their unique brand of thrash, Mr. Bungle will be bringing Battles along for the ride. Naturally, this tour will be in support of their 2020 release, featuring the admittedly bananas lineup of Mike Patton, Trevor Dunn, Trey Spruance, Scott Ian and Dave Lombardo.
Mr. Bungle is currently gearing up for their Ipecac Geek Shows featuring the Melvins and Spotlights next month out on the west coast. You can check out the full list of dates for that below, as well as the list of dates for their east coast jaunt this September.
Tickets will go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. EST, so be sure to get yours then. You won’t want to miss this at all.
