Motörhead Were the Epitome of ‘Badass’ and This Live Clip of “I Got Mine” Proves It

In the pantheon of rock stars that are no longer with us, there are few more unadulterated, few more real and genuine, than the late Lemmy Kilmister. Whenever Motörhead rolled into town, you knew you were going to get raw and unfiltered badassery in the form of insanely loud rock and roll. Having been fortunate enough to be mere feet from the legend at work in the past, I’m thankful I can always draw on those memories. Sadly, newer generations won’t be so lucky.

So that’s why it’s awesome that a previously unreleased concert will be available to all on June 16 when Motörhead, Live At The Montreux Jazz Festival drops. Recorded while the band was on their Kiss of Death tour, the concert features Lemmy, Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee tearing through one of the band’s most diverse setlists, featuring some massive hits and some deep, deep cuts.

To celebrate the live album’s upcoming release, a live video for “I Got Mine” off their 1983 album Another Perfect Day dropped earlier today. As expected, it showcases the band’s unwavering swagger from the start and doesn’t let up until it’s done with you.

You can check the clip out below and either reminisce about the shows that definitely compromised your hearing or get to live vicariously through the clip. Either way, it’s a hell of a good time.
