Exodus Cover Scorpion’s “He’s A Woman – She’s A Man” with Death Angel’s Mark Osegueda
Their 40th anniversary shows are fast approaching and a killer U.S. headlining tour will kick off immediately afterward, but that’s not stopping thrash metal legends Exodus from having a bit of fun with a classic Scorpions track.
Released today, the now Rob Dukes-fronted band teamed up with Death Angel vocalist Mark Osegueda to release their cover of “He’s A Woman – She’s A Man” off of Scorpions’ 1977 album Taken by Force. It’s a rock-turned-thrash deep cut that honestly sounds pretty damn good.
Speaking of the cover, guitarist Gary Holt said this cover was one they’d wanted to put out for a long time, it just needed the right vocalist to come along to tie it all together.
“We decided to cover one of our favorite bands of all time a ways back and have been sitting on it until now, and even better, the one and only Mark Osegueda of Death Angel/Kerry King collabed with us to sing it, and he crushes it! He is the only guy we knew who could do Klaus justice. Hope you dig it!”
As mentioned, Exodus will be heading out on the road pretty soon, with their two 40th anniversary shows slated for this coming weekend and their U.S. headlining tour kicking off this Sunday. You can find the full list of dates below.
