Kataklysm Go Down “The Rabbit Hole” with New Single and Visualizer
Melodic death metal outfit Kataklysm don’t have a new album coming out (that we know of), but that’s not stopping them from putting out a new track and accompanying visualizer for “The Rabbit Hole”.
As expected from the JUNO Award winning band, the track is heavy, powerful, and relentless. Described as a “soundtrack for the disillusioned—unapologetic and unrelenting,” the new track features Carach Angren’s Clemens Wijers, who worked on the track’s ambient sound effects and synths.
According to vocalist Maurizio Iacono, “The Rabbit Hole” deals with all the crazy shit that’s going on all around us lately.
“‘The Rabbit Hole’ is the bands first stand alone single since the bands classic ‘Iron Will’ track. As the world spins out of control and people search for purpose and truth, we felt questioning these things is something important to do, there’s a lot of noise and lots of distortion these days, but always trust your gut and what is right vs what is forced fed, so why not put these thoughts to music, so while we wait for the next record, we decided to drop this heavy hitter, spread it an enjoy!”
