Peacemaker FL Fires Guitarist Joseph Schultz Following Child and Animal Pornography Arrest

0

Two months after his arrest following a child pornography investigation, Peacemaker FL has officially acknowledged the firing of guitarist Joseph Schultz. The details surrounding this case are particularly disturbing, so if that’s all the information you need to know, it’s understandable if you stop reading here.

According to public information available on the Volusia County, Florida’s Division Of Corrections website, Schultz was taken into custody and booked on October 17. He was charged with 15 counts of ‘possession of a sexual performance by a child enhanced’ (child pornography) and five counts of ‘possession of pornography involving animals.’

Each child pornography-related charge came with a $10,000 bond, while the animal porn charges tacked on an addition $5,000 each.

As news of Schultz’s arrest began circulating online earlier this week, Peacemaker FL released a statement about their former bandmate, indicating that they’d already fired him from the band when he was picked up by police and charged:

“Joseph Schultz is no longer a part of Peacemaker. We removed him from the lineup 2 months ago, before the recent reports surfaced.

“Peacemaker has always stood firmly against the kind of vile behavior now being alleged. Our music has never shied away from calling it out, we write about confronting and destroying it in our lyrics, and that’s woven into who we are. Our principles aren’t changing and our stance on this is permanent. We are focusing on what’s ahead and gearing up for a massive 2026. See you soon.”
