THE FINAL TRAILER FOR ROB ZOMBIE’S HALLOWEEN II
Friday, August 21st, 2009 at 2:00pm by Axl RosenbergThe last time I wrote about Rob Zombie’s Halloween II (which is actually Halloween X, but hey, who’s counting?), it was to discuss an interview where Mr. Zombie talked about the film’s soundtrack; subsequently, the MetalSucks Maniac known as “Joshie” said he was curious to know how The Moody Blues’ “Nights in White Satin” would be used in the film.
Well, here’s your answer, via a “leaked” trailer that wasn’t really leaked at all but, rather, released by Zombie himself.
This is a way better trailer than the ones we’ve seen before (and I imagine it wasn’t “officially” released because it doesn’t feature John Carpenter’s iconic and highly marketable theme music – which I’ve heard is absent from the film as well), but I’m still convinced the movie isn’t gonna be any good. I guess we’ll find out when it opens a week from today.

trailer makes it look half way decent. One thing he does well though is his use of music, the devils rejects was an amazing example of using a soundtrack to enhance the movie
It’s a horror movie. How can anyone act like a horror movie snob. I would estimate a good 98% of horror movies are atrocious and mindless entertainment. This is gonna be no better or worse then any other horror movie out there.
You sir, to quote fat jesus- are a re-tard. And we prefer t be called “horror enthusiasts’. And im sure its just as mindnumbing as whatever hobby you might have.
I bid you good day sir.
Seems like another needless remake. Sort of like The Day the Earth Stood still and the first Halloween remake.
*I’m still convinced the movie is gonna be any good*
AXL- Is this a typo, or are you have you waffled on your original stance? I hope it’s the former.
Rob Zombie- You’re still a fucking hack. Fuck you. Fuck you in the arse.
If you havent seen Bad Taste, Dead Alive or Re-animator dont bother saying you love horror films. In fact play in traffic if you havent seen any of the afformentioned films.
All of those are great. I would add Evil Dead 1 and 2, though.
You sir get 5 stars, well played indeed
If you’re going play the Peter Jackson card might as well go for the trifecta and add Meet the Feebles or has that one eluded you Mr. King of the Horror Movie
No i just included my favorites, and ill play that “card” anytime i feel. Dont be a tool dude
Gonna be fucking awesome!
I’m there dude
Hack job make good slasher fun – the first installment was forgettable, so I hope this one leaves a mark.
Better the flicks than the solo releases. Cant blame the guy for doing what he loves. Good he keeps at it.
Who’s Uwe Boll boxing next?
I still don’t think that this movie is going to be any good…..but damnit all do I love that song…
People need to realize this movie IS NOT A REMAKE. It’s a new and fresh take on the Halloween franchise by Rob Zombie.
In other movie news, I saw Inglorious Basterds today and I lost count how many times I shit out of pure awesome movie moments.
bastards…im there dude
