HORSE THE BAND ESCAPE RAPE, HIRE CRAZY GOOD PIANIST

Brian Sisserson just sent us a link to this video. Is it metal? Of course not. But it’s awesome, and this woman, Valentina Lisitsa, is apparently doing some work on Desperate Living, the new album from Horse the Band. Check it out:

Speaking of Horse the Band: Lambgoat is now streaming “Rape Escape,” a new song from the band. I’m really digging it… not least of all that whole Wendy Carlos/A Clockwork Orange intro. Check it out here.

Desperate Living comes out October 6 on Vagrant Records.

    HTB might be one of the worst bands of all time. Had to sit through them opening for DEP and BTBAM in Philly a few years ago – the saving grace of their set was this guy heckling them in between songs (it was at the First Unitarian Church, if you’re familiar with the venue you know how small it is…they heard it).

    Great band, can’t wait for the new album. It’s obvious why some people don’t like them, but to say they suck or are awful is just dumb. They have plenty of fans who worship them, so they will be just fine without you.

    oh hell yeah, HORSE the band, make no mistake is the BEST bad band I know. I know they have short comings and I think they realize them too but it doesn’t get in the way of them being a fun band.
