The Anchor Teaches You to Make Spaghetti and Meatballs with an Atreyu Song

0

Remember when metalcore band The Anchor made shepherd’s pie to the tune of The Ghost Inside, with frontwoman Linzey Rae growling along recipe directions? Well, now they’re back, this time teaching you how to make spaghetti and meatballs to the tune of… Atreyu. Yecch.

It’s a shame, because I think The Anchor’s Metal Kitchen videos are relatively entertaining (though we might be reaching critical gimmick mass here), and I fucking love spaghetti and meatballs. It’s just that Atreyu blow. They blew then, when they were the bright and promising stars of metalcore, and they blow now. I’m sure there are a ton of bands out there heavily influenced by them — I don’t know them, but I’m sure there are. But maybe next time, The Anchor could pick a better band to parody. Scarlet or Shadows Fall or somebody.

Anyway, watch the video below. Don’t be surprised if your meatballs come out tasting like eyeliner and teenage heartache.
