ALBUM OF THE DAY: ZOZOBRA, HARMONIC TREMORS
This propulsively driving, tribally beating sludge monster slays me from the first track, and won’t let go the whole way through. Bombastic rhythm section, piercing guitars, thick manly screaming (rawr), and melodic singing sections set the stage for a no-bullshit, ass-kickin frenzy of wonderfully simple songwriting that blends together seamlessly with the thunderous production. This one is truly a winner.
