New Stuff

UPDATE, 3/22/12: New video added since the old one got taken down. Thanks to Metal Injection for the update!

Hard to believe that we’ve been waiting more than three years for a new album from The Faceless, but it’s starting to look like the wait might finally be coming to an end: the band has been spending time in the studio, and now MetalSucks reader Corbin Moers has sent us the below video, of the band performing a new song at a show over the weekend. The quality isn’t perfect, but what we can hear is incredibly promising. It sounds like Michael Keene and company have been eating Mr. Bungle for breakfast, complete with saxophones and some very Mike Patton-esque clean vocal parts.

The Faceless are currently part of The Metal Alliance tour along with DevilDriver, Dying Fetus, Job For A Cowboy, 3 Inches of Blood, and Impending Doom; you can get remaining dates here. Then they’ll be on this year’d edition of Summer Slaughter with Cannibal Corpse, Between the Buried and Me, Exhumed, Goatwhore, Veil of Maya, and a few other bands yet to be announced (although I think we’ll have some more news on that in a little bit); dates for that trek have yet to be announced.
