Tour de Force

In May, the new and improved Six Feet Under will release Undead, which is their best album… well, pretty much ever I think. I might wanna revisit Haunted before I definitively make that statement. But really, it’s far and away the best thing the band has made in a long, long, long time. And after you hear it, you’ll be wanting to go see ’em live — even if you’ve never been a Six Feet Under fan before, this is really a whole new band that barely even sounds like the SFU of yore. And when we saw them at Summer Slaughter in 2010, they, y’know, slaughtered.

So, terrific news: the band has just announced a U.S. headlining tour, which will also feature two other great bands, Dying Fetus and Revocation. This would be another one of those swell tours where there isn’t a weak band on the bill.

You can get dates after the jump. And while we’re on the topic of Revocation, don’t forget that MetalSucks and  Metal Injection are co-presenting that band’s upcoming headlining trek with Cannabis Corpse and Ramming Speed, which is ALSO a tour with no weak bands on the bill, and should be tons of fun. Get dates those shows right here.

And now the SFU/Dying Fetus/Revocation dates…
