EVIL ENTOURAGE ARE BETTER THAN THEIR NAME WOULD SUGGEST

Evil Entourage is not exactly a great name for a metal band — it sounds like a conglomerate of super villains from a children’s cartoon, fer Satan’s sake — but I just watched the Mexican band’s new video for “Swathe to Blind,” and I gotta say, the band is pretty cool! There’s nothing startlingly original about them — they basically just play meat n’ potatoes modern death metal — but they’ve written some pretty decent riffs here, and they definitely got my head a-bangin’. Bonus: their album artwork (above) is pretty sweet.
