Death to All Tour Returns!
Well, here’s some great news!
The Death to All tour, on which various surviving members of Death and some special guests got together to pay tribute to the late Chuck Schuldiner and raise money and awareness for the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, was surely one of the highlights of 2012. But various issues between the organizers of the tour suggested that we’d probably never see another edition of the trek.
But mercifully, those issues seem to have been resolved! On Saturday, Death’s manager, Eric Greif, posted the below image on the Death to All Facebook page…
…and this morning, it was announced that Death to All will headline the first night (May 3) of Neurotic Deathfest in Tilburg, Netherlands. The only announced member of the NDF Death to All band thus far is Gene Hoglan, but that bodes pretty well for the rest of the line-up, doesn’t it? Apparently “This will be the only Death To All performance in Europe in 2013,” so if you wanna go, you should probably buy tickets ASAP. The rest of the festival’s line-up is shaping up to make the ticket price totally worth it.
Meanwhile, there’s no word on whether or not there will be another U.S. edition of Death to All, or any versions of the tour in other parts of the world. But fingers crossed…
