Listen to Samples of the Songs LL Cool J Recorded with Eddie Van Halen

Van Halen News Desk has landed a ninety-second sample of “We’re the Greatest,” one of two new LL Cool J songs on which Eddie Van Halen plays. And while it’s not as bad as, say, that ridiculous Swizz Beatz-Ja Rule-Metallica collaboration, that’s like saying crabs isn’t as bad as herpes, ’cause herpes is incurable. But it’s not like anyone goes out on Saturday night with the intention of catching crabs, y’know? Well actually maybe Dave Navarro does but that dude is weird.

ANYWAY:

LL Cool J’s new album, Authentic, comes out April 30, and also features a guest appearance by Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello.
