“Thunder Chunky”: The First Iwrestledabearonce Song to Feature New Vocalist Courtney LaPlante

“Thunder Chunky,” Iwrestledabearonce’s first single with new vocalist Courtney LaPlante, is somewhat more straight forward than the band’s other material — save for some whacky/funky keyboards which come and go fairly quickly, there’s nothing “silly” or really even experimental about this song. Normally, I’d say, “Hey, those of you who hate IWABO might like this more than their past material!”, but who are we kidding? You’re not gonna give this a fair shot.

Too bad. I really dig it, and LaPlante seems like a terrific replacement for Krysta Cameron. Listen, if you dare!

“Thunder Chunky” will appear on IWABO’s new album, Late for Nothing, which comes out August 6 on Century.
