New Skindred Track: U Jam??

I’ve always had a thing for Skindred. Those electronic dub blips (not dubstep, you poseur), groovable beats and Benji Webbe’s sweet, sultry reggae voice hit that sweet spot for me and they hit it hard! I am not at all ashamed to say I love pretty much everything this band has done, and it should go without saying that I celebrate the catalogue of Webbe’s previous band Dub War too. The execution can be a bit nu-metally, but Skindred’s true roots lie elsewhere. Longtime MetalSucks readers know I’m a huge classic dub and dancehall fan.

Check out the new Skindred jam “Ninja.” If you’re a Skindred fan you’ll love it, and if you’re not I suspect you’ll hate it. Zero fucks given! Skindred’s new album Kill The Power will come out later this year (date TBA) and I’ll be sure to make the metal populace angry by continuing to heap praise upon it.
