Skindred Dropped a New Single “If I Could”

0

British reggae metal act Skindred released another single from their upcoming album Smile, titled “If I Could” and it’s built from the ground up for live audiences. Following in the footsteps of the album’s other singles “Gimme That Boom” and “Set Fazers,” this latest track can get people moving, thanks to their eclectic style.

According to frontman Benji Webbe, “If I Could” was directly inspired by the difficult time everyone went through during COVID lockdowns, citing how much 2020 fucking sucked.

“On the other hand, 2023 is a different story. We’ve released new music and we’re still to drop another few monsters from our album ‘Smile’. We’ve got the KISS tour coming, and we’ve also got our headline tour supporting the new album. So 2023, to me, looks like a very exciting time to be in Skindred. I’m very optimistic about the future!”

Smile is set to release on August 4 via Earache Records, though you can preorder your copy today.

You can also catch Skindred live in Europe from May 28 to August 2 and then solely in the U.K. from October 6 to November 18. A full list of dates for both tours can be found below the following video.
