Contest: Win a Prize Pack from Periphery, Dark Horse Comics and The Last of Us

Periphery’s new “experimental recording” Clear — with one full song contributed by each of the band’s six members — comes out on January 28th. In anticipation of that release we’re hosting a unique contest that should appeal to metalheads, gamers and comic book fans alike: three winners will each receive a prize pack containing a copy of Clear, a copy of The Last Of Us for PS3 and volume #1 of The Last Of Us: American Dreams, a comic put out by Dark Horse Comics that’s an exclusive prequel to the video game.

What do these three seemingly disparate items have in common? The guys in Periphery are big fans of The Last Of Us and so are we; furthermore the Dark Horse staff are big fans of metal (they previously released Corey Taylor’s The House of Gold and Bones comic). So why not bring them all together?

Also, to help you with Joel and Ellie’s survival, we are including Brady Games’ The Last of Us Limited Edition Strategy Guide in each prize pack.

To enter to win here’s what you’ll have to do: fill out the form below (be sure to use a valid email address you check often) and tell us why you think video games, comics and metal go so well together. Axl and Vince will sort through the entries after the contest ends at 11:59pm EST on Sunday, January 12th and they’ll award the prize to their favorite answer, so make ’em good.
