This Tour Will Be Evil: Deicide with Septicflesh, Marduk, and Carach Angren

Deicide In the Minds of Evil Tour 2014

The one-year anniversary of the release of Deicide’s most recent, totally sexcellent release, In the Minds of Evil, is fast approaching — and the band has yet to support it with a North American tour. Which is understandable… it’s no secret that touring ain’t exactly Glen Benton’s highest priority these days (not that I blame him). Still, given the fact that Evil is absolutely CRUSHING, it would be swell to see the band hit the road and play some of this new shit live (along with a healthy dollop of their old shit, natch).

Which, presumably, they will soon! They’ve just announced a North American headlining trek, with support coming from Septichflesh, Marduk, and Carach Angren. Two of those opening bands are really good! And the one that isn’t, Carach Angren — y’know, the band that once inspired extreme music scholar Cosmo Lee to declare that “symphonic black metal might be the worst kind of metal invented” — go on first, so they’ll be easy to miss! How delightful.

Dates haven’t been announced yet, but we’ll let you know as soon as they are…
