Queensryche Experiment with Breakdowns on New Track “Guardian” (Yes, Really)
It’s a no-brainer that the revamped version of Queensryche featuring vocalist Todd La Torre is leaps and bounds better than the bloated crap that Geoff Tate is releasing these days, right? Like, I don’t need to explain why at this point.
But if you still need proof, check out this tripe. Then listen/watch the below video, in which the Tate-less ‘Ryche rock through a solid new number called “Guardian.” Like “Arrow of Time” — the first track they released from their newest album — it sounds like Queensryche should sound, and that’s really all we as fans can ask. La Torre’s pipes are on fire, the guitar solo / instrumental sections are vintage ‘Ryche and, as a special bonus, there’s a breakdown/mosh part at the end (starting around 3:40) that may be the single heaviest moment Queensryche have ever put to tape. Don’t believe me? Listen for yourself!
Condition Hüman will be released on October 7th and can be pre-ordered here. Catch Queensryche on tour with Scorpions across North America from September 10th through October 9th (dates here).
