The Ghost Inside Were In A Horrific Bus Crash, Need Your Help

0

California metalcore band The Ghost Inside were involved in a truly horrible bus crash yesterday outside of El Paso, TX.

The band’s bus collided head-on with an eighteen wheeler, causing the death of their bus driver, Gregory Hoke, 31, and the truck’s driver, Steven Cunningham, 61. Drummer Andrew Tkaczyk, guitarist Zach Johnson, and singer Jonathan Vigil all received serious injuries and were airlifted to University Medical Center, where they are in critical condition. Bassist Jim Riley and touring guitarist Chris Davis both received serious injuries, but are apparently listed as stable.

Our good friend Brian Storm has launched a GoFundMe page so that fans can help the cover medical bills, equipment costs, and Hoke’s funeral expenses. Go here to donate.

Plenty of people has already helped out the band, but few as much as Bring Me The Horizon, who made a donation of ten large earlier today:

Look, we obvious give BMTH a ton of shit, but I gotta applaud them here. These days, so many musicians are too protective of their own bank accounts to help out another band the way those dudes just have. Hats off to them.

Everyone here at MetalSucks sends our heartfelt condolences and best wishes to everyone in The Ghost Inside and their loved ones.
