Bruce Dickinson Flies Injured Endangered Turtle Back Home

0

I’m beginning to think Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson is actually some sort of magical being who appears where and when he’s needed. The dude makes emergency landings look good. He helps underprivileged children with the power of music. And now he saves endangered turtles.

Yes, after Terri the loggerhead turtle washed up on a Jersey beach (Channel Islands Jersey, not Hoboken Jersey) with a nasty infection, a crowdfunding campaing was started to get her home to the Canary Islands. When a Spanish sanctuary offered to care for her, over €6,000 were raised, and Dickinson offered to give her a ride home.

Yes, all of this is true. We got it from The Olive Press. Bruce Dickinson flew a hurt, endangered turtle back home.

Let this be a lesson to all of you: if you are ever in need of help — let’s say you’re lost in the woods, or your raft is sinking, or the lava flow from the volcano is getting too close for comfort –just call out, “Help me, Bruce Dickinson!” Then the Iron Maiden frontman will appear, swooping down from the clouds to rescue you just in time. Just make sure you have €6,000 on you first.
