In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, this week’s episode celebrates Irish historical figures that were also as metal as metal gets, including the explorer Ernest Shackleton, the pirate queen Grace O’Malley, and the savage warrior Ulf the Quarrelsome, who once disemboweled a Viking enemy and wrapped his insides around a tree. Holy shit, that’s metal.
