Here for you to Hear: “Mota,” a New Russian Circles Song
The new Russian Circles song is called “Mota,” and I, being an intellectually inquisitive kinda guy, decided to look up that title to see if it has any meaning. Which is when I learned that “mota” can be used as a slang term for weed, which I either somehow never knew or have long since forgotten on account of, y’know, all the weed I smoke.
ANYWAY, the song is (duh) instrumental so I have no way of verifying that it’s about weed. But I’d like to think it is. I mean, Dio knows all Russian Circles music goes great with marijuana.
Regardless of what “Mota” is or is not about, you should listen to it, ’cause it rules. Stream it below. It will appear on Russian Circles’ new album, Guidance, which drops August 6 on Sargent House.
