Video: The Ghost Inside’s Andrew Tkaczyk is Starting to Kick the Drums’ Ass Again
The Ghost Inside’s long, hard road out of hell continues.
Eleven months after the band survived a horrific bus crash, and seven months after first getting behind a kit again, the band’s drummer, Andrew Tkaczyk, has released this video demonstrating the strides he’s made. And before some dickhead in the comments section says something like “Who cares? It’s not like he sounds amazing or anything!”, keep in mind what this dude has been through. I mean, he has a prosthetic leg now. I doubt many of us would have the determination to do what Tkaczyk has done and is continuing to do. We should all be bowled over by his perseverance and, of course, the one thing that really unites us all: his love of music.
Started off playing a little "Denial" influenced groove by Sevendust @morgan7d but then it just turned into nonsensical madness! Tons of slop in here but oh well. Trying to strengthen that right hip, and I've got a long way to go. I've been so excited to try this little Splash/Spiral stacker! Leave it to me to bend it the first time I ever play it. Thank you so much @zildjiancompany for the support and of course thanks to all my people @sjcdrums @vicfirth @remopercussion @64audio
