Oathbreaker Announce Tour with Khemmis, Sannhet, More

One of 2016’s most valuable lessons was that we should all be paying much closer attention to Oathbreaker. As our own Emperor Rhombus put it, Oathbreaker’s music “is a strange emotional mix of black metal, doom, and post-rock, with frontwoman Caro Tanghe mixing steely clean vocals with her piercing harpy shriek.” The more I listen to their most recent release, Rheia, the more convinced I am that I should spend more time with Rheia. Goddamn this stupid only-twenty-four-hours-in-a-day bullshit. Fucked by Father Time again.

In any case, if you’re still not riding the Oathbreaker train, this is a great time to hop onboard: the band has just announced a tour with a variety of great support acts (depending on which market your local show is in), including Khemmis, Sannhet, King Woman, and Jaye Jayle. Sounds like a blast to me!
