Korn Cancel Majority of May Live Dates

Korn have released the following statement:

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will be rescheduling a majority of our May tour dates. We will still be performing at Carolina Rebellion on May 6th, Pointfest on May 13th and Rock On The Range on May 20th. All tickets will be honored, or refunded at the point of purchase. Stay tuned for more information regarding rescheduling the dates.”

It seems less-than-coincidental that these cancellations come on the heels of the band touring with Tye Trujillo, the twelve-year-old son of Metallica’s Robert Trujillo, in place of longtime bassist Fieldy. But maybe the two things are unrelated. Who knows.

My sincerest condolences to any Korn fans bummed out by this news.
