Stone Temple Pilots: Pro-Shot Footage of First Show with New Singer Jeff Gutt Released
Last week’s news that Jeff Gutt is the new singer for Stone Temple Pilots was kinda anti-climactic, in no small part because we didn’t have any video footage of Gutt’s first performance with the band.
Well, hey, guess what we have now?
Thing is, it really looks like Gutt is making an earnest effort to be Scott Weiland 2.0 and not Jeff Gutt 1.o. His hair, the way he grips the mic, he shimmying… it’s all very Weiland. Maybe that will work out, but it seems ill-advised, doesn’t it?
