Napalm Death’s Shane Embury Ranks the Band’s Discography from Worst to Best

  • Axl Rosenberg

Decibel has gotten the great Shane Embury to rank Napalm Death’s discography, and as is so often the case when an artist is asked to evaluate his own art, the results are somewhat surprising. I think most Napalm Death fans will probably be onboard with the bassist’s decision to put the late ’90s stuff mostly near the bottom of the list… but I also think they’d probably rank the early ’90s stuff much higher. Still, it’s hard to deny that some of the band’s more recent work, which Embury ranks highly, is also some of their best.

Check out the list below, then head over to Decibel to read Embury’s explanations for his choices.

14. Words from the Exit Wound (1998)
