Here’s Another New Underoath Song Called “Rapture”

As previously noted, I’m no Underoath expert. As such I don’t have a whole lot to offer on the band’s new track “Rapture” aside from the fact that it seems a bit more hard rock radio friendly than I remember the band being back in the day. To quote the great George W. Bush, I could simply be misremembering the past, but everyone still calls them “metalcore” so I think I’m onto something. But, to all you Underoath fans out there, take a listen below via the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show with Daniel P. Carter and tell me what you think: has the band gone soft in their old, secular age?

Underoath’s new album Erase Me comes out April 6th via Fearless Records. Catch them on tour this spring; dates here.
