Metallica Make Skate Decks Now

Actually, Metallica have made skate decks before, because of course they have, they’re Metallica, there is no product for which they won’t potentially license their logo. But now Metallica make… uh… more unique?… more expensive?… anyway yeah they’re teaming up with Dogtown Skateboards to make a limited edition new deck. The art on the deck, which was “Inspired by ‘80s Dogtown & Metallica styles,” was designed by Jim “Red Dog” Muir, whose brother just so happens to be Mike Muir from Suicidal Tendencies, the band of which ‘Tallica bassist Robert Trujillo just so happens to be a former member.

The decks, which are on sale now, will cost you about $140. If you like the design and are looking to spend less money, there’s also a t-shirt available for $35.
