We know that THIS is the vv important breaking news update you’ve all been waiting for, right? This side of anything Corey Taylor says, anyway.

And so, the new drummer of Five Finger Death Punch is…

… Charlie “The Engine” Engen! The same fella who’s been filling in for the band on recent tours is now officially a full-time member. Engen previously played in Scale the Summit and replaced longtime FFDP drummer Jeremy Spencer, who left last year after first taking what was thought to be a temporary leave of absence from the band to recover from back surgery.

The revelation came in FFDP’s latest studio update video, which tells the story of how Engen first hooked up with the band. Check it out below.
