Opeth: Listen to the New Single “Heart in Hand”

At last, Opeth have debuted the first single from their new album, In Cauda Venenum! The track, which was previously teased in this tour trailer, is called “Heart in Hand.” And while the song is still not nearly as heavy as classic ‘Peth (the kids call them that, right?), it’s got a harder edge and  less of the hippy-dippy-jam-band feel than anything from the band’s past few albums. Could In Cauda Venenum be the album that finally unites old fogies screaming at clouds because Mikael Åkerfeldt doesn’t scream at anything anymore with more open-minded fans who have just said “Yes!” to Opeth’s Yes era?
