Babymetal’s New Album Will Feature Members of Arch Enemy, Polyphia and Sabaton

Babymetal’s upcoming album, Metal Galaxy, will be their first without Yuimetal, bringing three new “avengers” into the fold to take her place. Turns out the band’s tapped some very special guests to join them this time around as well.

Babymetal just released some more information about the album, and they’ve revealed that Sabaton vocalist Joakim Brodén, Polyphia guitarists Tim Henson and Scott LePage, and Arch Enemy vocalist Alissa White-Gluz will all guest on various tracks. Outside the metalsphere, guitarist Tak Matsumoto from B’z makes an appearance and rapper F.HERO is featured on the previously released single “PA PA YA!!” I was personally holding out hope for a reprise of the Rob Halford live collaboration, but the list of folks they’ve got is pretty stellar.

Metal Galaxy, will be out October 11, and can be pre-ordered here. Get their upcoming U.S. tour dates with Avatar here.
