The Ghost Inside Will Play More Shows in 2020

0

Things are finally moving forward for The Ghost Inside nearly four years after the 2015 bus crash that left several members with life-changing injuries. After playing their first show since the accident and revealing that they’re working on new music with Fit for an Autopsy’s Will Putney and A Day to Remember’s Jeremy McKinnon, the band has now posted an update stating that they’ll be getting back up on stage in the not-too-distant future.

In a new post to Instagram, the band stated that while they won’t be touring, the band will be playing “a few more shows,” and in the accompanying video they reveal that those shows will be next year and will not be consecutive. Here’s the copy that accompanied the video:

“Welp, here it is. A month and change has gone by since our show in LA. We’ve spent most of that time together working on music and discussing the next chapter of TGI. By no means are we ready physically or mentally to do any touring, but July 13 proved to us that we are much more than capable of overcoming all of the challenges that have been placed in our way, and we are ready to play a few more shows. As the plan for when and where those will be comes together, we will continue to put all our cards on the table. We like to think we are on every part of this journey together with you. Stay tuned as the first couple of announcements will come up quick! TGI now, TGI forever.”

Sounds like The Ghost Inside fans won’t have to wait long to find out more about what the band has planned. As your local, cheesy radio DJ would say, “keep it locked.”

In case you missed it, this footage of fans at TGI’s comeback show moshing to “Bohemian Rhapsody” between sets is a must-watch.
