Dry Kill Logic Return with First Single in 13 Years

New York metalcore favorites Dry Kill Logic have returned with their first new track in 13 years, “Vices,” which debuted on SiriusXM’s Liquid Metal channel.

“After 13 years, we couldn’t be more excited to be releasing music again and ‘Vices’ is the perfect reintroduction,” says vocalist Cliff Rigano.

Adds SiriusXM host Jose Mangin, “Stoked to have DKL back making heavy music again. As soon as I heard some new cuts, I knew this had to be all over SiriusXM Liquid Metal!”

Together for 24 years, the Westchester, NY, band has released seven records, with the first two EPs under the former band name Hinge. Upon releasing their debut full-length on Roadrunner Records, The Darker Side of Nonsense, the band changed their name to Dry Kill Logic, following a copyright dispute with a recording studio of the same name.

Dry Kill Logic went on to release two more full-length albums and one EP, concluding with the critically acclaimed album Of Vengeance and Violence, before going on a decade-plus hiatus.

The band set the scene abuzz with a tease at a return a few years ago via social media, followed by a live clip from their rehearsal space.

The band’s current lineup of original member Cliff Rigano (vocals), along with guitarist Jason Bozzi and bassist Brendan Duff plan to continue along the long-standing Dry Kill Logic path of defying convention, with plans to release more singles and merchandise collaborations rather than a typical album. Potential live shows are also in discussion.
