Megadeth, Five Finger Death Punch, Bad Wolves 2020 European Tour: Dates Announced

Last month, Megadeth and Five Finger Death Punch teased a European tour for early 2020 with Bad Wolves supporting, an interesting development for two major reasons:

  1. The news means Dave Mustaine is responding well to treatment for throat cancer, with which he was diagnosed in June, and feels healthy enough not only to use his voice on a near-nightly basis but to withstand the rigors of touring.
  2. Five Finger Death Punch, and not Megadeth, are headlining this run, a bit of a head-scratcher. But I s’pose that’s just how it is right now with regards to each band’s popularity relative to the other.

Dates for that tour have now been announced. We’ll certainly be keeping an eye on this one concerning Mustaine’s health, but one can assume doctors gave him the all-clear and he not only feels good, but is confident in his abilities to put on a show at the level that’s expected of Megadeth. A-fucking-men to that.
