It’s Official: The Black Crowes are Reuniting for 2020 Shake Your Money Maker Anniversary Tour
It’s official: The Black Crowes are getting back together for a handful of live shows in 2020 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their landmark 1990 album, Shake Your Money Maker.
The announcement follows weeks of rumors and a snapshot of a gig poster in New York City’s subway that surfaced over the weekend. The two shows teased in that poster are the only ones that have been confirmed so far: July 17 at the PNC Bank Arts Center in New Jersey and July 18 at Jones Beach Theater in Long Island, both easily accessible via public transportation or drive from New York City.
This morning, dates for a three-month North American tour surfaced on Ticketmaster and on the band’s official website, and all of them are on sale right now! As of press time the band has not made any official announcement clarifying who will join the Robinson brothers in their live band, a hot topic of speculation.
