Sebastian Bach Announces Second Leg of Skid Row 30th Anniversary Tour
Sebastian Bach has announced another leg of his Skid Row 30th anniversary tour, on which the singer plays Skid Row’s eponymous 1989 debut in its entirety (and also — spoiler alert — plays three Slave to the Grind tracks for the encore… and not necessarily the ones you’d expect). Vince and I caught the first leg of the tour when it skid-rolled through Manhattan this past fall, and the best way to sum up the gig would be “Fun but weird.” It’s basically like hanging out with Uncle Baz while he regales you with stories of his glory days (complete with a slide show), curses the names of those who have dared to cross him, and every now and again sings some stuff, too. I’d be lying if I said it was a good show, but it was definitely an entertaining show. If you ever loved Skid Row and find potential insight into a rock star’s psyche tantalizing, you will not regret going to see this concert.
