New The Black Dahlia Murder Music is Coming Next Month!

0

Pure Grain Audio has landed an interview with The Black Dahlia Murder frontman Trevor Strnad, and according to the “Heartburn” belly-tattooed screamer, new music from the band is very, very close to meeting your ears.

According to Trevor, the band’s next album will come out in April with the first single arriving at the top of February:

“The album comes out in April and the first taste of it will be at the beginning of next month, the first song and the artwork and the big reveal of the name, and all that. Pretty excited about that; it’s been a long time coming now. I recorded vocals for the album in May. So, it will be like a year almost until it finally comes out. It’s been a long time to think about it, let me tell you.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Strnad explains that the reason it’s taken two and a half years since the band’s last album, Nightbringers, instead of the usual two, is because they kept being invited onto sick tours and they couldn’t say no. On the bright side, that just means the new tunes were able to marinate a bit longer, which is always a plus in my opinion.

Read the full interview here. Perhaps we’ll take Trevor back out on the mean streets of NYC to test the new material with the masses like we did for Nightbringers:
