Slipknot’s Tortilla Man: Identity Confirmed… Again!

For the past seven months, one mystery has plagued the metal community: who in the mother of living FUCK is “Tortilla Man,” the percussionist who got Chris Fehn’s old job in Slipknot?!?!?!

The earliest guess was that it was this rando, but by late August, the popular theory became that it’s Michael Pfaff, who plays keyboards in Shawn “Clown” Crahan’s side project, Dirty Little Rabbits. And while the comedian Gilbert Gottfried claimed that he was Tortilla Man, in December, Pfaff was spotted traveling with the band, which seemed to all but 100% confirm that he is, indeed, the percussionist the French call “Homme de Tortilla.”

Now more evidence has emerged, maybe, we think, that Pfaff is Tortilla Man, possibly, could be, we’re not sure.

That potential, perhaps-evidence arrives in the form of a social media post from Slovenia’s Postojna Cave, which commemorates a visit from Clown, drummer Jay Weinberg, and a third guy who looks like he could feasibly be Pfaff. Amongst the photos shared is also one of all three visitors’ signatures left in the cave’s guest book; one of those photos appears as though it could reasonably say “Pfaff.”

So there ya have it, folks: irrefutable evidence that Tortilla Man could conceivably be Michal Pfaff. So glad we finally may or may not have solved this mystery!!! Now we can all move on with our lives.

Slipknot and Tortilla Man are on tour throughout 2020. Get dates and tickets here.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I suddenly have a craving for Mexican food.
